INTRODUCING SOME OF THE STAFF AND RESIDENTS YOU MAY MEET AT OUR FACILITY:
Caesar
Caesar is our newest "staff" member. He joined us in February 2012 and is taking his job as greeter/gaurdian very seriously. Hes very happy to meet all the students, boarders and visitors.
In this photo, Caesar pays close attention to all the activity, while being careful to stay out of the way.
Caesars gentle friendly attitude has lead to the creation of an unexpected "job" for him...That of friend and playmate to the babies at the barn. He provided companionship for Rileys bottle calf until it grew large enough to join the herd, and continues to be a friend and playmate to Mac, a boarders foal that was born this spring.

Roy and Dale
No barn would be complete without barn cats! This brother and sister pair are often found curled snugly together or nestled in a by-stander's lap.
Rowdy
Rowdy is a barn favorite. This gentle APHA gelding was foaled, raised, and trained by Karen. Rowdy LOVES children, and everyone loves him! He has been the first ride for countless children and beginner adults.
Rowdy loves attention, so when you visit, be sure to stop and say hello to him.

Magnum
Magnum, a stunning black and white APHA gelding ,was foaled, raised, and trained by Karen. He is very personable and is always eager to greet students and give lessons.
Magnum showed great promise in the show ring his first year and will continue to show in 2012. He has also shown that, like most of Karen's horses, he can move comfortably thru cattle.

Lakota
Lakota is the stunning black and white filly owned by Karen Franklin. Lakota's dame is Cheyenne, and she was sired by Rebel. 2011 was also Lakota's first year in the ring, competing in reining and pleasure. Foaled, raised, and trained by Karen, Lakota has a quiet, lady like disposition, and enjoys her work and the students.
Bullet
Bullet is Lakota's 2013 colt. Imprinted by Karen at birth, and acclimated to the barn's activities immediately, Bullet is very friendly and curious. He greets visitors and enjoys their attention. With his bloodlines and easy acceptance of early training, this leggy colt has a very bright future.
See more of Bullet on the foal page and favorite photos page.
